Murals > Banzaii Rock Skate Park mural #1, North Shore, Oahu, Hawaii

Banzaii Rock skate park is a nice sized spot to skate on the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii. I noticed that there were walls to paint on so I proceeded to do a piece. I realized that its not often people take the opportunity to paint there when I quickly had an audience of local skaters asking me what I was doing. It was cool to meet the kids and they seemed inspired to join in when they all started asking for me for my extra paint. I gave them a few cans and went to work. Since my graffiti type pieces all start from an improvisational free form 'scribble' style, I never know how long each piece will take. I wish I had an extra hour to finish up a few things on this one, but between the rain and the sun setting time didn't allow. This piece took about 4 hours beginning to end.
